RoyPow unveils SUN Series residential energy storage system

As North America’s largest renewable energy event, RE+ 2022 including SPI, ESI, RE+ Power, and RE+ Infrastructure is a catalyst for industry innovation that’s supercharging business growth in the clean energy economy. On 19 – 22, September, 2022, RoyPow residential energy storage system  - SUN Series was unveiled for the American market with lots of visitors being present at the booth.

Residential energy storage system plays an critical role in today’s energy transition as it can help achieve energy independence by providing power source that can be used any time of the day, even when the sun isn’t shining and reducing reliance on the grid. It can also optimize self-consumption (the amount of self-produced energy that is consumed instead of consuming it from the energy grid) and cut down greenhouse gas emissions or carbon footprint by storing energy from a completely free, clean and renewable  energy source - the sun.

Meanwhile, the American standard of RoyPow SUN Series can provide 10 – 15kW power output with flexible battery expansion varying from 10.24kWh to 40.96kWh capacities. The unit is fully compatible with indoor or outdoor installation as the qualified IP65 rating can deal with the high humidity environment efficiently with the operating temperature ranging from  -4℉/-20℃ to 131℉ /  55℃.

RoyPow SUN Series has been designed to ensure smart operation with the APP management, which allows users to manage the system remotely via an app or track home energy consumption in real time. Safety has been integrated into the home energy storage solution. To prevent thermal diffusion, RoyPow SUN Series utilizes aerogel material due to its high-performance properties in thermal conductivity and electrochemical reactions. In addition to this, the integrated RSD (Rapid Shut Down) & AFCI (Arc Fault Circuit Interrupter) are incorporated in response to an identified electrical problem causing fires in the home and to prevent fire caused by fault arc, providing a high level of safe protections by detecting and removing the hazardous arcing condition timely.
