On July 17, 2024, ROYPOW celebrated a significant milestone as CSA Group awarded North American certification to its energy storage systems. Through the collaborative efforts of ROYPOW’s R&D and certification teams along with multiple departments of the CSA Group, several of ROYPOW’s energy storage products achieved notable certifications.
The ROYPOW energy battery pack (Model: RBMax5.1H series) has successfully passed the ANSI/CAN/UL 1973 standard certifications. Additionally, the energy storage inverters (Models: SUN10000S-U, SUN12000S-U, SUN15000S-U) meet the standards of CSA C22.2 No. 107.1-16, UL 1741 safety certification, and IEEE 1547, IEEE1547.1 grid standards. Furthermore, the energy storage systems have been certified under the ANSI/CAN/UL 9540 standards, and the residential lithium battery systems passed the ANSI/CAN/UL 9540A evaluation.
Achieving these certifications signifies that ROYPOW’s U-series energy storage systems comply with the current North American safety regulations (UL 9540, UL 1973) and grid standards (IEEE 1547, IEEE1547.1), thus paving the way for their successful entry into the North American market.
The certified energy storage systems include several key components, with the CSA Group’s engineering team bringing extensive experience and expertise across various fields. Throughout the entire project cycle, both parties maintained close communication, from initial technical discussions to resource coordination during testing and final project review. The collaboration between CSA Group and ROYPOW’s technical, R&D, and certification teams led to the project’s timely completion, effectively opening the doors to the North American market for ROYPOW. This success also lays a solid foundation for deeper cooperation between the two parties in the future.
