On March 4-7, ROYPOW, a global motive power battery and energy storage system provider, took part in the American Trucking Association’s (ATA) 2024 Technology Maintenance Council (TMC) annual meeting and transportation technology exhibition, a key event for America’s trucking industry held in New Orleans.
At the exhibition, ROYPOW showcased the all-new 48V all-electric truck APU solutions which include—a high-power, 48V intelligent alternator that supports demanding power needs, 48V 10.3kWh LiFePO4 batteries, an air conditioner boasting a cooling capacity of 12,000 BTU/h, over 15 Energy Efficiency Ratio and 35 dB low noise, a 48 V to 12 V DC-DC converter with a design life of 10 years and high conversion efficiency, an all-in-one inverter with up to 94% maximum inverter efficiency, a lightweight and flexible 100W solar panel, and a 7-inch intelligent energy management monitoring display.
Compared with traditional diesel or AGM truck APU systems that often fail to address all truck idling and related issues, ROYPOW provides an advanced zero-idling alternative, which helps comply with nationwide anti-idle and zero-emission regulations such as CARB requirements, reduce fuel consumption, extend engine service life, lower maintenance costs, enhance driver comfort, and promote environmental sustainability.
About 300 exhibitors participated in the TMC exhibition, including truck companies, supporting parts suppliers, software service providers, trailer and solution providers, and tool equipment suppliers.

They discussed how the solutions work, their installation, and system applications, and shared insights into the latest industry demands for truck APU products.
