The IEC 62619 standard is a crucial safety certification for secondary lithium batteries and accumulators used in industrial applications. It covers most safety risks associated with battery systems, including over-temperature protection, overvoltage protection, overcurrent protection, and drop tests. This standard imposes higher and stricter requirements to ensure that only safer, more reliable, and superior battery systems can enter the market, raising the bar for battery manufacturers.

TÜV SÜD conducted a comprehensive evaluation of ROYPOW S72280A aerial work platform lithium battery in strict accordance with IEC 62619:2022 and ISO 13849-1:2015 standards. This ensures that safety is fully integrated into the design and manufacturing process, effectively reducing the risk of failures and enhancing the protection of both users and equipment. Additionally, the battery BMS has passed the ISO 13849-1:2015 functional safety assessment, achieving a PLC performance level and meeting the required standards.
