Angling tournament angler with over 25 years of experience. Bronze Medal World Champion, pair winner of multiple international competitions, including the most challenging and prestigious one- Predator Battle Ireland- 3 times.

I was representing Country and leading Irish National Team on the official World Championships in most European Countries but also further afield, with the most exotic one being South Africa.

Angling consultant and professional fishing guide with over 15 years of experience and most importantly passioned Angler.

2. ROYPOW battery used：

B1250A，B24100H

1x 50Ah 12V and 1x 100Ah 24V. I use smaller battery to power electronics (1x 12, 2x9 Solix and Helix also Humminbird Live scope. Bigger battery is powering up my 24V 80lb Minnkota.

3. Why you switched to Lithium Batteries？

Choice was simple:

- steady power discharge

- light build

- quick charging time

- better prediction and planning of your power storage and usage in different conditions

- BMS system

- and ROYPOW batteries look cool too and I like gadgets ;-)

4. Why did you choose ROYPOW

Before I got a chance to use ROYPOW batteries, I was using different brand of LiFePO4 batteries, and surely they were big advantage over lead-acid leasure batteries I had before. Now when I have the comparison between theoretically the same technology but different make, I can only see advantages of ROYPOW. They are simply build to last and outperform any other brand and I’m convinced with that!

I’m using my ROYPOW in harsh conditions, cold temperatures, on my day to day work on the boat as Fishing Guide and they have never let me down and I don’t think they will.

5. Your Advice for Up and Coming Anglers:

Today’s anglers are well used to electronics on their boats. Bigger better screens, stronger electric motors, modern sonar technologies (live view and 360) are outstanding tools in our quest of more comfortable and effective fishing, but we can not forget that all this technology is useless without proper source of power.

Times of using big heavy and inefficient lead batteries are thing of a past now, and choosing lithium batteries is the best choice today. The the key is to chose the right tools for the job. And ROYPOW is giving us those right tools!
